In 2014, at the age of just 25, Manisha Khatri cleared the UPSC exam in her first attempt and secured All India Rank (AIR) 35. Thereafter, she completed her IAS training from Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie and was appointed to the Maharashtra cadre.
She has held important administrative positions since the beginning of her career. Apart from serving as the Collector of Nandurbar, she has also played an important role as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amravati Zilla Parishad and Additional Commissioner of Tribal Development Department, Nagpur Region.
As per the latest update, on 26 December 2024, IAS Manisha Khatri has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Nashik Municipal Corporation under the Government of Maharashtra.
