Meenakshi Chaudhary Early Life
Meenakshi Chowdhury was born on 1 February 1991 in Panchkula, Haryana, India. Her late father, Colonel B.R. Chowdhury, was an officer in the Indian Army. Meenakshi completed her primary education from St. Soldier International Convent School, Chandigarh. She is not only a brilliant student, but is also known as a state-level swimmer and badminton player.
Chowdhury completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National Dental College and Hospital, Dera Bassi, Punjab. Her academic and sporting achievements have made her a multi-talented person. Meenakshi Chowdhury represented Haryana in the Femina Miss India 2018 pageant. Meenakshi Choudhary started her acting career with the official Indian adaptation of the BBC’s popular drama series “Doctor Foster”, “Out of Love”. In this series, she played the role of 22-year-old Alia Kashyap. Alia faces the complexities of a relationship with a married man and the social antagonism that arises due to it.
In 2020, Meenakshi played the lead role opposite Sushant in the Telugu film “Ichata Vahanamulu Neeluparadu”. She participated in various workshops while pursuing her dental degree and modeling career. It was during the workshop that she met Sushant for the first time.
Regarding her debut film, Meenakshi said, “The funny thing is, neither of us knew who the other was. I didn’t know Sushant was an actor, and he didn’t know that I was a competition winner.” After the workshop, Sushant called her to discuss a film script, which Meenakshi happily accepted. She added, “My workshop turned into an audition trial.”
